Early Life and Career
Donald John Trump was born on June 14, 1946, in Queens, New York City. He attended Fordham University and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics in 1968. Trump began his career in the real estate industry, working for his father's company, Fred C. Trump Organization. In the 1970s, Trump expanded his business empire into Manhattan, developing luxury residential and commercial properties.
Political Career
In 2015, Trump announced his candidacy for President of the United States as a Republican. He ran a populist campaign, focusing on issues such as immigration, trade, and the economy. Despite having no prior government experience, Trump won the Republican nomination and was elected president in the 2016 election.
Presidency
Trump's presidency was marked by controversy and division. He implemented policies such as the tax cuts and Jobs Act, which favored corporations and wealthy individuals. He also withdrew the United States from the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade agreement and the Paris Climate Accord. Trump's administration also implemented a travel ban on citizens from several Muslim-majority countries and policies that separated immigrant children from their parents at the border.
Impeachment

His supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, in an attempt to overturn the election results. Trump was impeached by the House of Representatives again for inciting an insurrection, but he was acquitted by the Senate.
Post-Presidency
Trump left office on January 20, 2021. He continues to be a vocal critic of the Biden administration and remains a popular figure among Republican voters. Trump has hinted at the possibility of running for president again in 2024.
